Papi's Journey

I grew up in Metepec, Mexico, a town known for its delicious homemade cuisine. As a child, I sold fresh fruit juices, desserts, and tacos in our local market with my mother, cherishing the lively atmosphere and happy customers.

My career in the travel industry led me to work with top cruise line companies, and it was on a cruise ship in Venice that I met my Australian wife, Kelly. After marrying in Mexico, we moved to Brisbane to raise our two daughters. I have worked in some fantastic venues in the city, but my dream remains to open my own restaurant, sharing my Mexican culture and love for food.
